Lovely German Horse Head Crystal & Metal Beer Stein Tankard. This beer tankard was made in Germany circa 1900. The high quality faceted crystal is in excellent antique condition, no chips or cracks. With deep cut star to the bottom. The original silver plating is excellent condition as well as the high quality metalwork of the mount. It measures almost 7 in height, 5 ½” across with the handle and 3 ½” in diameter to the bottom, it weighs 720 grams or 25.40 oz. We follow international regulations. The item is exactly as pictured, so please take your time to supersize them and check every detail. We provide several pictures, we will provide more upon require. Impressive c1880s German Cut Glass Crystal Pewter Lid 1.5L Andvari Gnome Stein. Presented is an impressive antique German cut glass crystal stein or pitcher, with pewter mounts. The body of the stein is heavy weight cut glass in a ten sided, paneled design. The stein stands on a round foot with a star design cut into the bottom. The handle, thumbpiece and bottom of the lid are pewter, well made and sturdy. The thumbpiece is done in the form of a charming little gnome figure (the gnome king Andvari, in fact) sat astride a beer barrel, arms raised in a most celebratory fashion with a beer stein in one hand and what looks to be a turnip in the other. The stein has a capacity of 1.5 liters, or 50.7 fluid ounces. This piece is in excellent condition. The glass has no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The pewter lid and handle are in great shape, with no breaks or repairs.
