Antique (1896-98) German GERZ rare military lithophane beer stein with army artillery scenes. Original antique German military lidded beer stein from late 1800’s measuring 10 inches tall. Graphics are in great condition. No chips or marks that I can see, some dirt that still needs to be cleaned off. PLEASE look at the photos to judge the physical condition for yourself. There is a little play where the pewter meets the porcelain handle. The hinge on the pewter is solid. Small crack noted and photographed on the bottom of the porcelain image of a German officer. Portrait can be seen at the bottom when held up to the light. Bottom porcelain is translucent allowing the image to be seen more clearly. Please note that the bottom image is slightly.
