Antique German Beer Stein with Pewter Lid 1/2 L and approx 9.5 tall. Looks to be porcelain or ceramic, with lithograph bird scene and marked ” Bur Grinnerung”. A logo is embedded on the inside bottom. Lid hinge is tight given the precision design of the lid, handle and hinge. Stein was obtained by a long time Norfolk VA Physician who obtained them during his Army Medical Service in Post War Occupied Germany during the 40s and used for display souvenirs.
