Overall in mint condition, just a tiny bit of play at the pewter hinge (the lid sits perfectly flush when left at rest – exactly as pictured). This is a wonderful ruby cut to clear glass & pewter stein. The glass body is ruby red with four cut to clear exposed panels between the pewter frame. The pewter is also highly detailed consisting scrollwork (perhaps fleur de lis inspired design) with stylized flowers too. Finally, the thumblift depicts the face of a child and the handle depicts the torso a bare breasted woman. Height: 6.8 tall from base to top of thumblift. Width: 3.9 at the base.
