Antique amber glass German beer stein fancy pewter footring doves overlay 1/2L
Overall in very good condition, only very minor issues of note are a minor ding to the pewter pedestal base & lid, also the blown light amber glass can freely move within the pewter overlay which has caused some faint surface scratches to the light amber glass (exactly as pictured)! This is a beautiful antique hand blown light colored amber glass beer stein with fancy pewter pedestal base & clear inlaid glass insert with pewter overlay & acorn finial top. The main pewter overlay on the body consists of a central scene of a child jester with floral / vine motif & then on the sides the floral / vine motif continues but with a pair of doves on each side. The stein is displays incredibly well! Height: 9.3 tall from base to top of finial. Width: 3.6 at the bottom of pewter pedestal base. Blown amber glass antique German beer stein hand painted crest design prunts
Overall in mint condition! This is a beautiful antique hand blown, hand painted enamel amber glass stein. The body has prunts near the base, which seem to almost change color depending on light and the viewing angle – anywhere from a blue to aquamarine to a dark green. The pewter lid has a neat and detailed child/putti holding a chalice thumblift. The central image depicts a crowned eagle Prussian crest. Height: 14.5 tall from base to top of finial. We are offering a c. 1885 German ambrer luster glass pewter lidded 2L beer stein/server in the Mary Gregory style painting with six matching glasses. There are four different paintings. The server stein has the original pewter lid. The strap is tight and the tang is firmly affixed to the lid. This type painting originated in Germany and was made popular in the US by Mary Gregory who painted in this style for about 6 years. This set is in good clean condition. Hand Blown & Painted Amber Glass with Barley Crown Crest. Overall in very good condition, only knock is a line where the handle mates up to the base of the stein (exactly as pictured – I will attempt another shot of the area that shows it better). This is a beautiful antique blown amber glass stein. The main scene is of a barley crowned crest/shield. The pewter lid also has a saying that wraps around it, Wenn Muth Erschlafft, stärkt Gerstensaft. ” that translates to, “When Courage Deflates, Barley Juice Strengthens.
