The lid has a clear glass inlay engraved with the name “Benno”. The pewter mounts have a 5-ring closed type hinge and small feather-shaped thumblift – the typical techniques used in the 1850s – 1860s. The stein is in excellent mint condition. It is 6.25 tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity Please note – the stein is overlayed with the red glass layer. It is not stained or flashed – the red glass layer is quite thick.
