Beautiful German Beer Stein with portraits of two men, Munchhausen and another, I can’t read the inscription. The motto “Guter Muth Gesundes Blut” on the front. “Good spirit good blood”? Maybe a high German motto. The most amazing feature is the crenellated base of the stein. Marked Germany, not sure of the age but this is unlike any stein I have ever seen. Only the finial on the top of the lid is missing, otherwise no chips or scratches on the stein. The stein measures 7.5″ and 9″ with the lid.
