Originally sculpted, presumably by Peter Dumler around the year 1875, in intricate detail, and dramatically capturing the mobilization of the Germanic tribes in the defense of their fatherland. The body of the stein vividly portrays in handpainted raised relief, a resolute German wife and mother pointing out her warrior husband the path to his fellow Germanic warriors assembled under their banner, as he kisses his son goodbye.
