German ceramic, figural, 1/2 L, pewter lid. Text Reads, Die Kehl kost veel. ” & translates to, “The throat costs much. Condition and Description: Overall a very good condition specimen, only minor quibble, some wear to handle & base brown color (exactly as pictured). A neat colorful stein, with great presence and displays incredibly well! One curious thing about this stein is that the “stubble” facial hair effect was created by numerous pin pricks around the man’s beard prior to firing the stein.
