The body of the stein is made of Bohemian crystal glass. The glass was hand-blown and decorated with the thumb-print patters on the inside, creating a wonderful optical effect. It was mounted with a pewter lid and foot-ring/pedestal of exceptional quality. The lid is engraved with a presentation inscription: 1898 Gew. Weitlingen The stein was a gift to a certain Vorst Y. Meyer for singing in the town of Weitlingen in Bavaria. It is dated 1898. The stein is in excellent flawless condition – a collector’s dream. It is 9 tall to the top of the finial, 0.5L capacity.
