Up for sale is an old lidded beer glass tankard possibly from Germany. It looks like a tankard that might have been used in a bar/tavern. I think the lid is made from pewter. It has the number 10 etched into the lid. It measures about 5.25″ high and 3.25″ across the base. It weighs about 1KG or 1000 grams. It is marked/etched on the side 0.30 I think for the volume probably 0.3L. It has very thick glass that has many imperfections/flaws including distortions/striations and air bubbles. There is considerable wear and aging. It has some small chips. I notice two that I have shown in the last photos. There will be other wear/damage that I have not captured. I have not tried to polish the pewter so there is staining and a patina. The lid is a bit loose on the handle causing the lid to move/sit to the left on top of the mug. I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use.
