Vintage German regimental stein with very strong lithophane and an unusual finial of soldier helping his wounded comrade. Some wear in the paint, especially around the roster. Beautiful and collectible 2-liter German Stein with pewter lid. Stein is burgundy and deep turquoise with embossed figures, pewter lid has a dolphin finial on handle. Band reads’Immer wird das gluck ist wiirb’ and base is impressed 250. Measures 15 3/4″ high to top of finial by 5 1/2″ diameter at base, holds 2 L. And is in mint condition, no losses noted.
