This is a lovely RARE Antique Tübinger Igel Hedgehog / Hobnail Glass German Beer Stein. The hinged metal lid is surmounted with an eagle, a raised view of a typical drinking scene in copper relief, and an inscription around the outside which dates to 1891/92. Measurement of “1/4 L” is etched to the side of the glass at the fill line. Measures 4-1/4″ tall including the Eagle x 4″ diameter at widest point. Please see photos for more details.
