You are ordering this antique, German made, Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach, 1L Beer stein. Mold number 3089, known commonly as, Diogenes. Mold designed by famous Mettlach artist, Henrich Schiltt. The artwork on this stein originally appeared in a 1908 vault painting done by Heinrich Schlitt in the Munich Ratskeller. Diogenes der alte Narr verdrossen hockt er da und starr.
