This is a beautiful pressed glass stein with a handpainted piece of porcelain set into a pewter lid. The picture appears to be a man & woman greeting each other in the morning, if I interpreted the printed writing at the top correctly. It is in German, which I don’t speak. The design in the glass is lovely and the only flaw I see is a few minor flakes on the glass under the lid. They do not affect the beauty of the piece which measures 7 to the top of the handle.
