This listing is for the vintage Gerz pewter lidded German Musical Beer Stein shown. With “Froh beim Bier, das lieben wir” which loosely translates to Happiness through beer, that is what we love. It is approximately 12 inches high (1 liter), has an ornamental design pewter lid and a beautiful hand painted, deeply embossed graphic design depicting folks drinking in a pub on a cobalt blue background. One band is decorate with ornate edelweiss flowers and the elaborate base band is ruffled. It is in excellent vintage condition with no significant faults found. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on the stein. The music box fuctions as it is intended and plays.
