Estate sale find Huge ceramic beer stein from Germany. 21 3/4″ tall to the top of the lid, 7″ wide across the base, and weighs almost 9 pounds. Marked on the base, the GERZ mark is faint but can be seen; also has a number on the side under the handle. Pewter lid, looks like the very tip of the lid is either missing or has slight damage. No other cracks, chips or damage anywhere that I can see (there are a few glaze cracks from firing but all look to be as-made). Nice coloration, bright with crisp detail.
