Vintage 1960s German Navy Regimental Parole Heimat Porcelain Lithophane Beer Stein features. Battalion finial anchor & rope and Eagle Thumblift. The domed pewter lid has a German inscription and a standing Seaman Officer in very defined uniform. His right hand holds an anchor. The front of the domed lid features an eagle and military items on its right and left sides, as to swords, helmets, a saddle and a flag. The thumblift is a crowned eagle. Lithophane in the bottom of the stein is depicted in 4 last photos. The stein measures approx. 13-1/2″ tall, 6″ across with handle, and 4-5/8 in diameter at the base, net weight 2 lb 8 oz.

Antique German Military Regimental Beer Stein Royal Bavarian 1 Inf. Description: Original regimental (Reservisten) stein c. Belonged to Gefreiter (PFC) Hummel of 9. Company of the 12 Bavarian Infantry Regiment named after Prince Arnulf stationed in Neu-Ulm in 1903 – 1905. New-Ulm (New Ulm) is a town in Swabia, Bavaria – very close to the city of Ulm in Wurttemberg. Prince Arnulf was the son of Prince Regent Lutpold of Bavaria, and one of the famous Bavarian military generals. Made of hard porcelain with lithophane in the bottom showing a Portrait of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. The front scene shows the the garrison barracks of Neu-Ulm, regalia of the regiment with a crown and the Coat-of-Arms of Bavaria. The side pictures show scenes of everyday military life. Magnificent figural lid with two soldiers standing, and with Heraldic Lion representing the Kingdom of Bavaria for the thumblift. There is a chip on the upper rim (covered by the lid), a faint hairline coming from it, and a minor lithophane crazing. The lid is in excellent condition. It is 11 tall, 0.5L capacity.
