Rare vintage Merkelbach & Wick Beer Stein/Pitcher. Handmade & incised in Germany, Westerwald Region. Grey salt glazed pottery with cobalt blue floral designs. Marked on bottom with M & W. Hard to make out. No repairs, chips or cracks. The item has been displayed in our smoke free home for over 23 years, bought in Germany. 8 1/2 hight to top of pewter lid.
