Up for sale is a nice quality antique 19th century lidded German beer stein. The pewter lid has a wonderful con-vexed porcelain insert that is painted by hand with a wonderful figural scene. It is also engraved by hand on the edge of the lid with a name and has an elaborate dimensional thumb piece. The hinged lid is mounted to a thick clear glass mug and in nice used condition.
