This is an antique beer stein made in Germany. It is made by the GESCHUTZT company. It was made for gymnastics college or school in South Africa. The lid is dated 1899. The graphics are amazing on this item. Please note that the mug has considerable damage at the bottom. It was repaired years ago with glue and all pieces appear to be there.
