Original Antique German Army Regimental Beer Stein. 1908-1910 Kaiser Welhelm II
The stein features the Kaiser Wilhelm II and is made by the Kaiser brand. It is a lidded stein and has a breweriana theme. The country of origin is Germany, and it is a great collectible item for those interested in beer and German history. This stein is rare and hard to find. It belonged to Reservist Menges for his loyal duty, and they are memorializing lost service members. It lost part of its lid, the body of the stein has no chips or cracks. It will need to be cleaned up so be careful or not if you like the patina. Stine is used sells AS-IS. Thanks for looking and have a great day &####128512; THIS IS A ORIGINAL..
Antique Early German Westerwald Stoneware Beer Stein Enghalskanne c. Early 1700
Antique Early German Westerwald Stoneware Beer Stein Enghalskanne c. Description: The beer steins made before the 1800s are quite rare – at that time, before the industrial revolution, the production was all manual. Every stein made in the early period was unique, decorated by hand and rarely replicated. Presented is an excellent quality saltglazed stoneware beer stein from around the early 1700s. The stoneware produced in Germany, especially in the Westerwald region was technologically superior to all the ceramics in the world at this time (except, probably, porcelain). The stein is decorated with incised geometrical decor and cobalt-blue glaze. It has a ball-shaped body with a round base and long neck – this form is traditionally called “Enghalskanne” or “long neck pitcher”. Most of the stein made in 1600s – early 1700s has some applied decorations, but there were some with only the incised ones as well. The shape of the stein, the pewter and specifically the petrification of the stoneware – all points to the early 18th century production. The lid is pewter with scalloped thumblift – typical for the period of the late 1600s – early 1700s, and five-ring closed type hinge. The specific way the rings are set – they are thin with some larger gaps between – indicate the early 1700s as well. I have provided a picture of a very similar – almost identical – stein/pitcher from the late 1600s, taken from the late Johannes Vogt catalog. This one is a little later production, but clearly very close. The stein is in excellent shape – a very rare condition for a ceramics piece over 300 years old. There are no cracks, hairlines, chips or repairs. There is a glaze burnt spot on the side – a manufacturing glitch, not later damage. Interesting to notice that the one from the Vogt catalog has almost the same. The lid is sitting pretty tight. The stein is 13 tall to the top of the thumblift, 2.5L capacity. I guarantee the authenticity. Condition: Excellent w/minor manufacturing glitch. Get Supersized Images & Free Image Hosting. Attention Sellers – Get Templates Image Hosting, Scheduling at Auctiva. New Orleans Gators State seal by M&R 1/2L German beer stein Antique #6042
“New Orleans – Gators, Oranges, Banjo Player & State Seal”. German stoneware, relief, 1/2 L, inlaid lid. “Souvenir of New Orleans”. By Marzi & Remy. Condition and Description: Overall in very good condition, only knock, a tear to the the pewter where the tang & lid meet (partial tear has been stabilized with J-B weld, shown in last pic – exactly as pictured). This is a curious stein sporting multiple alligators, oranges, Louisiana’s state seal which depicts a mother pelican wounding her breast to feed her young from her own blood, a Banjo Player & Souvenir of New Orleans on the – this stein has tremendous presence and displays well! This stein appears to be fairly unique, in that I have been unable to find another example of it anywhere. Marzi & Remy # 6042 is supposed to only be a Florida souvenir stein, it is # 6007 that is either Florida or Louisiana. Maybe a prototype or test stein that never really took off, or perhaps part of a small custom batch order to commemorate the state seal adopted in 1902? Definitely a bit of mystery with this stein! Height: 9.2 tall from base to top of lid. Width: 4.2 at the base. Please feel free to message me with any questions, and thanks for looking!

Antique Early German Faience Beer Stein Thueringen Factory dated 1799
Antique Early German Faience Beer Stein Thueringen Factory dated 1799. Description: Presented is a very impressive and beautiful old German beer stein manufactured in the region of Thuringia – an old German state located in central Germany – around late -1700s. Made of faience with very colorful hand-painted decorations that traditionally are associated with Thueringen factories. The decorations consist of a front and side medallions showing a flower painted in green, yellow, and blue. The rest of the stein is covered with magenta sponge background. This is very typical for Thueringen. Nice pewter lid with a large hollow ball for the thumblift and a lip ring. The lid is engraved initials C. There are two other letters on the lid – “TM” but they are scratched, not engraved so they are not significant. Probably the initials of the next owner. There are also some minor pewter tears in the lid but the connection is quote solid and the exterior looks excellent. These are fair conditions for a beer stein that is over 220 years old. It displays good and appears quite impressive. It is standing 11 tall to the top of the thumblift, over 1L capacity. I guarantee my description and dating. Get Supersized Images & Free Image Hosting.
