Hand Blown & Painted Amber Glass with Barley Crown Crest. Overall in very good condition, only knock is a line where the handle mates up to the base of the stein (exactly as pictured – I will attempt another shot of the area that shows it better). This is a beautiful antique blown amber glass stein. The main scene is of a barley crowned crest/shield. The pewter lid also has a saying that wraps around it, Wenn Muth Erschlafft, stärkt Gerstensaft. ” that translates to, “When Courage Deflates, Barley Juice Strengthens.
