We are offering a vintage German Horbrau, Munchen Pewter Lidded Brewery Beer Stein made in Westerwald. This stein is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has the original brewery engraved lid. On the lid indicates it is from the Imperial period before the new state took it over. The strap is tight and the tang is firmly affixed to the lid. Original German Regimental Cavalry 1899-1902 Lithophane Beer Stein! Wilhelm II
This unique beer stein is a one-of-a-kind piece of history, featuring lithophane imagery and a design that has been crafted to perfection. Made in Germany during the late 19th and early 20th century, this lidded stein was created to commemorate the regimental cavalry of the time and says something about Kaiser Wilhelm II within the names written (see photos). With its intricate design and sturdy construction, this piece is a must-have for any collector of breweriana or German memorabilia. The stein is in excellent condition and is ready to be displayed in your home or added to your collection. Under a loop magnifier, you can see the skill in writing the names on the stein. This stein is 0.5 L and is 11 inches tall including the lid. NO cracks or blemishes anywhere (very tiny flea bite on the underside base that I didn’t see until I put a loop on it) Also the lid is a bit loose and doesn’t quite align with the mug, but can be done with an expert that knows more about these steins. Gorgeous like new West German 2 liter beer stein. Standing an impressive 15 tall, this stein is only made in a small area in the wooded hills of Westerwald. Each stein is hand colored and fired at a high temperature to make it permanent. The craftsmanship in making these steins is passed from father to son over many generations. This is a special piece. In mint condition and never used, the lid has a beautiful patina and has never been cleaned or polished. Weighing in at 5 lbs. With a 5.375 base, this stein is unmatched. The stein features the Kaiser Wilhelm II and is made by the Kaiser brand. It is a lidded stein and has a breweriana theme. The country of origin is Germany, and it is a great collectible item for those interested in beer and German history. This stein is rare and hard to find. It belonged to Reservist Menges for his loyal duty, and they are memorializing lost service members. It lost part of its lid, the body of the stein has no chips or cracks.
