We are offering a fine German 0.5L brewery beer stein “Brauerei zum Munchner Kindl” made by Reinhold Merkelbach. This stein is in great condition and has he famous Schutenlieseil bar maid with the target hat. The pewter is the original and is in excellent condition with a ball thumblift. The strap is tight and the tang is firmly affixed to the lid. Hunting and target competitions have always been active sports in Germany. We want you to have a very pleasant experience. This listing is for an Antique German Military Regimental Beer Stein With Horseman in Battle Metal Lid. There is some wear from use, age & storage, but overall it is still in good condition. Didn’t see any cracks. There is a reddish brown circle mark near the handle. Not sure if that is a factory imperfection or not. Charming mid 1800s German Faience Beer Stein 1L Rearing Horse Scene Pewter Lid. Presented is a charming antique German lidded beer stein, dating to the mid 1800s. This stein is white glazed faience pottery, with a colorful scene on the front of a rearing horse over a hill, against a blue sky, all done in a charmingly stylized yet distinct style. The lid and foot rim are pewter. This stein has a generous capacity of a full liter (1000 milliliters/33.8 fluid ounces), with plenty of headspace for foam. This piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The underside of the stein is signed with incised initials that look like KZ. Inside the lid are the letter IH (or HI, depending on orientation). The stein stands about 9 5/8 inches to the top of the lid and measures about 5 1/8 inches in diameter at the base, or about 7 ½ inches from the handle to the front.
