There is a small white spot on what looks like a pipe and another on the stein handle – see photo’s. The top of lid looks like it may have been repaired – the pewter color is lighter – see photo. The stein shows a group of men drinking on one side and what looks like an old pipe on the other side. Under high magnification, the group of men drink appears to be made up of dots – I suspect that it is a decal – see photo #10. The pipe does not have the dots and seems to be hand painted to me.
